“Being part of a team is really important to him and has been a massive boost to his confidence – he absolutely loves it. Thank you for what you do for him.”u12s Mum
We value anyone’s willingness to get involved at whatever level, many of our coaches today were unsure what was expected of them and didn’t want to commit to something they couldn’t deliver.
Have a chat with someone at the club, you will get an honest appraisal of what’s involved.
Marldon are just as supportive to our volunteer adults as we are our players. Speak with anyone involved with the club and they will likely wax lyrical about the vision and values, if you buy into the ethos of creating a child centric, learning environment for all then you will fit in fine.
creating a culture
Our coaches that wont be focussing on winning football matches, shouting down officials or telling your players what they must do.
Whatever level you wish to get involved, you will not be put in any positions you aren’t prepared for, or asked to do anything until the club feel you are ready.
The club will pay for qualifications to support you on your personal journey of development.
These skills are transferable to other aspects of your life and personal development, it can be highly rewarding to contribute but may also open doors to a new veneture or career.
